BattleHawks End Offseason Workouts

The XFL season begins in 53 days for the St. Louis BattleHawks and the team is one step closer to being ready for the Feb. 9 opener against the Dallas Renegades after concluding their first offseason program Wednesday in Earth City at the Lou Fusz Athletic facility.

A roster of 65 players participated in two weeks of workouts, OTAs and minicamp and they will now break for the holidays before reconvening in Houston in early January. All eight XFL teams will be practicing at different venues in the Texas city before returning to their home base a little more than two weeks before the opening weekend.

At the conclusion of practice, Howard Balzer caught up with head coach Jonathan Hayes, who talked about the work accomplished and what’s ahead for the BattleHawks.
