Vladimir Tarasenko stayed hot against the San Jose Sharks Tuesday night, scoring a pair of goals for St. Louis as the Blues defeated the Sharks in overtime 3-2.
With the win the Blues now hold the top Wild Card spot in the Western Conference with 91 points. The Anaheim Ducks hold the second spot, also with 91 points and the Colorado Avalanche are close behind with 90 points.
After losing nine out of their last 10, the Blues have now won eight of their last nine games and the energy in the arena has changed from frustrated to excited.
Scottrade Center has gone from booing to wooing. Asked if he liked that it’s become a thing, Yeo replied: “Heck yeah. That’s awesome.” #stlblues

The Blues take a two game road trip to Las Vegas and Arizona before returning home. With six games left in the season, the Blues are getting hot at the exact right time.
This freakin #STLBlues team… lose 7 straight and wait for everyone to give up hope…. then rattle off 6 straight and get right back in it. Sharks had won 8 straight. Blue jackets had won 10 straight. Blues snapped those streaks in back to back games.
