Meet Maureen Moore

Maureen Moore radio host St. Louis.Maureen Moore is the Founder and Queen of Saddleback Chocolates, offering premium distinctive hand-crafted chocolates that are personalized, tasteful and elegant. Moore is also the President and CEO of Inspiring Success, as creator of the Leaders in Education program. Peabody Energy was the exclusive partner with Leaders as its flagship community relations outreach program in the United States.Prior to joining Peabody Energy, Moore served as Senior Vice President of Advancement at Logos School and Director of Major Gifts at St. Louis University where she was responsible for the $84 Million dollar funding campaign for Chaifetz Arena. Moore also served as the President and CEO of the Illinois Health and Sports Foundation, President of the National Congress of State Games and Founder of the State Games of America.

Moore served as Vice President of The Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation and a board member of the Cardinal Glennon Foundation and Bob Emig Foundation. Moore was named a 2016 “Woman of Distinction” of the Missouri Athletic Club.

Moore graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration in both Accounting and Finance from Saint Louis University. Moore was a member of the SLU Varsity Tennis Team, 1978-1982. She and her husband, Michael founded Saddleback Stables in 2001, a thoroughbred breeding, sales and racing partnership competing at racetracks in the Mid-Atlantic, South and Midwest. They reside on their horse farm in Lebanon, IL and have two sons, Patrick and Kyle.
