The St. Louis Blues struggles continue as the injuries pile up. After an overtime loss to Dallas the team announced Jay Bouwmeester will miss the remainder of the season with a hip injury and Scottie Upshall will miss at least four weeks after suffering an MCL sprain.
Bouwmeester suffered the hip injury Dec. 10 vs. Buffalo. He had the option of surgery or injection and keep playing. He decide to put off surgery until after the season but re-injured it Saturday in Dallas. He’ll now undergo surgery and be out 4-6 months.
