SLU’s Jordan Goodwin Suspended Two Months

SLU freshman guard Jordan Goodwin will not play the remainder of the season for the Billikens after violating team policies.

The freshman guard was at the center of a Title IX investigation where three women accused four men of sexual assault in September of 2017. Goodwin was the only player that was able to remain with the team during the investigation and was found not guilty of sexual assault.

“I take responsibility for a violation of University policy. I am going to take this short time to reflect and learn from this situation. I apologize to everyone who has been affected. I am sad to leave my team, but I look forward to returning to Team Blue in May,” Goodwin said in a statement.

Goodwin average 11.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and four blocks for the Billikens this season. He will be eligible to rejoin the team after the season in May.
