The St. Louis Blues are trying to claw their way back into a playoff spot, but are doing so without one of their best players in Valdimir Tarasenko.
Tarasenko is still listed as day-to-day with an upper body injury according to the team and did not skate with the Blues on Tuesday. He left during Sunday’s game in Chicago, where the Blues escaped with a 5-4 overtime victory.
Head coach Mike Yeo spoke to the media following Tuesday’s practice and said the 26-year-old superstar is doubtful for Wednesday’s game against Boston.
