It’s that time of the week to vote for our 590 Schnucks High School Athlete of the Week. The poll is open until Wednesday afternoon and the full interview will be on the website on Friday so make sure to keep coming back for updates. This week’s nominees are:
Hunter Bulger: Hunter had five points, which included a hat-trick and two helpers to propel CBC over Marquette in a defining 9-0 victory on Saturday.
Brandon Mitchell-Day: Brandon helped MICDS squeak past Glendale on Saturday in a 61-60 win. Brandon had 15 points including going 5 of 9 from the field and making his only three-point attempt.
Annie Restovich: Annie had 18 points on the way to her team’s huge 66-39 win over Jennings on Saturday. Annie was 4 of 5 from the field and made three shots from beyond the arc to lead her team in scoring.
Caleb Harrold: The Edwardsville Tigers upset the CBC Cadets in a dual wrestling meet over the weekend that saw two of the most talented schools in both states come face-to-face on the mat. Caleb was able to win his match in the third round after being tied with CBC’s Luke Ebers. Caleb got the big win that pushed Edwardsville over CBC, 45-23.
