VOTE NOW for the Schnucks High School Athlete of the Week

It’s that time of the week to vote for our 590 Schnucks High School Athlete of the Week. The poll is open until Wednesday afternoon and the full interview will be on the website on Friday so make sure to keep coming back for updates. This week’s nominees are:

Mitchell Day: Mitchell is the goaltender for the Kirkwood Pioneers ice hockey team. On Saturday he stopped 21 of 22 shots in Kirkwood’s big 3-1 over De Smet.

Timothy Pazdernik: Timothy had the only goal in Vianney’s 1-0 upset win over the defending champions, SLUH Jr. Billikens on Satruday.

Caleb Love: Caleb had himself quite the weekend having big games both Friday and Saturday. Friday started off with an 88-75 win over MCC division rival Chaminade. Caleb dropped 35 points on Friday, setting himself up nice for the second game on Saturday against Grandview K.C. Once again, Love put on a show for the crowd, putting up 29 on the night, still leading his team to a sound 62-50 win.

Taryn Blevins: Taryn had 14 points in Marquette’s 62-52 win over Lindbergh on Saturday. Taryn went 6-for-14 from the field and was perfect from the charity stripe.
