Brennan Orf – Westminster Basketball – Brennan Orf scored 19 points for Westminster on Saturday. The Wildcats used a 29-4 blitz to end the first half and defeat MICDS 58-41 in the first round of the Class 4 District 5 Tournament.
Jordan Fredrickson – Principia Girls Basketball – After putting up a combined 55 points in two games against Bayless and Lift For Life, Fredrickson now ranks third in scoring leaders in the St. Louis area. She 496 points so far this winter, averaging more than 21 points per game.
Vanessa Polk – John Burroughs Girls Basketball – The freshman scored 11 of 15 points in the second half of the game in the first round of the Class 4 District 5 Tournament on Saturday at Ladue High School against MICDS. Polk’s push in points helped make John Burroughs victorious over MICDS for the first time in more than a decade, advancing them to the next round of the playoffs.
Jakub Dobes – De Smet Hockey – Dobes is ranked 11th in GAA leaders in the St. Louis area as De Smet hockey’s starting goaltender. He currently holds a 1.429 GAA, with only 10 goals against this winter.
Mallory Ronshausen – Cor Jesu Girls Basketball – In the past two games Ronshausen has put up a combined 54 points for Cor Jesu. She currently leads the St. Louis area in three-point shots in girls basketball with 56, averaging more than three per game.
