This week’s nominees are: 

Jacob Blessing – Lindbergh Hockey Jacob Blessing currently ranks third in scoring leaders in the St. Louis area with eight points, three goals and five assists for Lindbergh hockey. On Monday Blessing had six points, two goals and three assists against Eureka.

Tyler Macon – East St. Louis Football East St. Louis football’s Tyler Macon is currently ranked eighth in passing leaders in the St. Louis area with 2,213 total passing yards this season. On Saturday Macon threw for 314 yards against Glenbard east.

Avery Crowder – Eureka Volleyball – Avery Crowder is currently ranked 12th in assist average leaders in the St. Louis area with 668 assists, averaging 9.15 assists per game. The junior had 27 assists for Eureka (31-8-3) on Saturday as the wildcats swept Lafayette to win the Class 4 championship title.

Hunter Longhi – Collinsville Hockey – On Monday Hunter Longhi tallied a hat trick for Collinsville hockey with four goals and five assists against Wood River. Longhi is currently ranked second in scoring leaders in the St. Louis area after accumulating nine points in a single game.

Vincent Perry – Cahokia Football – Vincent Perry is a leader for the top 25 players in the St. Louis area in total yards. On Saturday Perry accumulated 90 total yards, with 79 total rushing yards and 11 receiving. His performance helped Cahokia football beat Carbondale is post-season play Saturday.
